ANDY FEHRENBACH (Piano Accompanist) is making his New York City musical theater debut in Susan Damante's solo work. The production marks a reunion for the two artists who, until this collaboration, hadn't crossed paths in over fifteen years. (Thanks for the gig, Suz—it's about time!) When not accompanying Ms. Damante, Andy serves as the music director for The Child School, a private K-12 institution on Roosevelt Island. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Stanford University and a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from Indiana University, where he studied with renowned jazz educator David Baker. As a jazz trumpet player, Andy has shared the stage with a host of world class artists, including Herbie Hancock, George Shearing, and James Moody. Now residing in Manhattan, Andy continues to pursue his passions as a performer, composer, and educator.
